Featuring slim construction, the TZ-S240W-AS is a 2-way array speaker containing 32 speaker elements. The sound source speaker elements are vertically arranged in close proximity to each other, and form a continuous linear sound source, achieving uniform sound pressure with less attenuation due to distance. The TZ-S240W speaker is of a special design which is ideal for long distance sound transmission applications.

- Can be conveniently set for high-impedance applications by using the optional MT-S0601 matching transformer when driven with a single amplifier.

The slim array speaker shall be a long throw two-way and direct-radiating line. The speaker shall consist of eight direct-radiating 10 cm cone-type drivers arranged in a vertical line and housed in a tuned and ported enclosure. The high frequency section shall consist of 24 direct-radiating 25 mm balanced-dome tweeters arranged in a vertical line. The tweeters shall be mounted on the right side and in front of the low frequency drivers, sharing the same horizontal axis. The integral frequency dividing network shall include both low pass and high pass filter sections and shall be optimized for smooth on-and off-axis frequency response. The crossover frequency shall be 3,500 Hz. The speaker input connectors shall include M4 x 2 screw terminal connections and wired in parallel for pass-through to additional speakers. The speaker’s horizontal and vertical coverage shall be consistent with that of a straight line array design. The horizontal coverage shall be 100 degrees and vertical coverage shall be 0 degrees. By stacking 2 units of the same model, the coverage area and distance shall be increased. The speaker shall meet the following performance criteria. Power handling (full range): 240 watts continuous pink noise, 480 watts continuous program. Frequency response (10 dB below rated pressure sensitivity): 95 Hz to 20 KHz. Pressure sensitivity (1 watt at 1 m): 94 dB. Impedance: 8 ohms nominal. When the optional line matching transformer model MT-S0601 is installed, the available power taps for 100 volt line applications shall be 15 watts (670Ω), 30 watts (330Ω), and 60 watts (170Ω). The speaker enclosure shall be made of medium density fiberboard and finished with white paint. The speaker grille shall be made from a single punched steel plate and finished with white paint. The dimensions (W x H x D) shall be 160 mm x 950 mm x 262 mm and weight shall be 17kg. The speaker shall consisted of L-shape mounting bracket x 2. The speaker enclosure shall be equipped with threaded inserts for the attachment of optional accessory brackets. Available accessory brackets for flying, and for wall, ceiling and stand mounting shall be made of steel. The operation temperature shall be -10°C to +50°C The Slim Array Speaker shall be TOA model TZ-S240W. The matching transformer shall be TOA model MT-S0601. The extension plate shall be TOA model SR-EP4. The flying bracket shall be TOA model SR-FB4. The wall tilt bracket shall be TOA model SR-TB4. The wall mounting bracket shall be TOA model SR-WB4. The floor stand shall be TOA model SR-FS4. The stand adapter shall be TOA model SR-SA4
