The analog standard master station is designed for use with TOA's N-8400RS (manufactured by TOA Corporation) packet intercom system (IP network compatible intercom system) that employs the packet audio technology.
The master station is a 4-wire system and shall be capable of hands-free operation via a PTT (press to talk) button in half duplex transmission via its built in microphone and loudspeaker with its own 3-step volume control. It shall also have its own handset with independent rotary volume control for privacy using full duplex transmission. The master station shall call and page to the other master stations or sub stations connected to the same N-8400RS Sub Station Interface Unit.
The master station shall also perform the following features: Voice calling, Automatic connection, Continuous call, One-touch dialing, Call hold, Automatic call forwarding, Emergency paging, Scan monitoring, Three-party conference and many more.
The master station can be desk mounted or mounted to a wall using an optional bracket.
The dimension of the master station shall be 148 (W) × 208 (H) × 70.5 (D) mm (5.83” x 8.19” x 2.78”). Weight shall be 720 g (1.59lb.) and both body and handset shall be finished in light grey ABS resin.
