The FV-200EV Emergency Message Panel is the emergency broadcast operating section of the FV-200 Series Emergency Public Address System. It need not be installed when the system is used solely for general broadcasting purpose. It has facilities to manually start and reset emergency broadcasts. Emergency announcements are recorded in English (default settings), which can be changed by USB data transfer operations from rear panel.

The emergency message panel shall be a 2U size, 19” rack mount. It shall build-in with four pre-recorded digital messages. The messages shall be stored as 44.1k Hz, 16 bit PCM (monaural), uncompressed WAV format and shall be transferred via USB interface directly to unit on rear panel. The four messages are Alert, Evacuation, False Alarm and Clear which can be activated by front buttons. The panel shall have a fire alarm input contact, 4 control output and audio output with VR control. The Fire alarm contact shall be linked with a fire alarm system/panel. When a fire alarm is been triggered, the “Alert” message will broadcasted automatically. Simultaneously, FIRE indicator shall be lighted up and control output become “Make”. The message will broadcast continuously and shall stop upon the fire alarm is reset. In any emergency situation, the microphone shall be operated as highest priority. The panel microphone shall be -55dB, 600 Ω, unbalanced, XLR connector which is located in the front.

The audio output shall be -20 dB*, unbalanced, removable terminal block (2pins).

Specifications shall include frequency response of 20Hz to 20k Hz ± 3 dB (1k Hz) and distortion under 1% (1k Hz, rated output). Front panel LED indicators shall include POWER, FIRE and ALERT, EVACUATION, FALSE ALARM, CLEAR.

It shall have an operation temperature of 0°C to +40°C. Power shall be derived from an external 24 V DC / 250mA power supply.

The front panel finish shall be black aluminium, alumite. It shall have an operation temperature of 0°C to +40°C.

Dimensions shall be 482 (W) × 88.4 (H) × 336(D) mm and weight shall be 4.3 kg.
